Grief & Bereavement Counseling
The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult human experiences. Whether it is the death of a child, spouse, parent or beloved friend grief counseling may be able to help you cope with the loss. Issues often addressed include guilt, anger, and sadness. While bereavement is a "normal" reaction to loss, at times, it may develop into depression. Psychotherapy is often helpful in addressing these issues. I also work jointly with couples and other family members when indicated.
In my practice, an individual therapy appointment to address grief and bereavement typically lasts 45 minutes and the fee is $150 per session. Appointments are most often scheduled once per week, though more sessions may be scheduled at the client's request.
If you are interested in grief counseling or would like to learn more about how psychotherapy may be able to help you, please contact me for additional information. Intake appointments can often be scheduled within 24 hours.
