Anger Management...

Difficulty controlling anger may be a sign of many different mental health concerns. These include stress, problems in a relationship, substance abuse, posttraumatic stress disorder, and depression to name a few. There are also many different reasons that people seek help with controlling their anger. Some of my clients come because they are tired of "flying off the handle" or hurting those around them. Others are referred by their employer or the legal system. If you are having difficulty controlling your anger and have decided to do something about it, anger management training may be able to help.

In my practice, an individual therapy appointment to address anger management typically lasts 45 minutes and the fee is $200 per session. Appointments are most often scheduled once per week, though more sessions may be scheduled at the client's request. The number of sessions varies based on the needs of the client, with the average number being between 8 and 15.

If you are interested in individual psychotherapy to address problems with anger management or would like to learn more about how therapy may be able to help you, please contact me for additional information. First appointments can often be scheduled within 24 hours.
